LEE KA SHAO - CIO

• Most recently Mr Lee was with Abax Global Capital in Hong Kong (July 2007- February 2008) where he managed macro positioning.
 
• Prior to Abax, Mr Lee established and ran the principal strategies business as the Managing Director, Central Treasury Unit (CTU) of DBS from 2001 to 2007. In this capacity, he managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio on an absolute returns basis with a Global-Asian macro and situational approach across multi-
asset classes.

• Mr Lee worked at JP Morgan from 1994 to 2001 with Global Markets Trading as a market-maker and proprietary trader in currencies, rates and derivatives in Asia and developed markets.  His last senior role with JP Morgan was to establish and run the Derivatives Structuring group (Asia-Ex Japan) post-Asian crisis in 1998 to advise and structure cross-markets product solutions to central banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, MNCs, asset-managers and hedge funds.
 
• Mr Lee is a Captain (reserve) in the Singapore Armed Forces and served as an army officer leading reconnaissance and intelligence missions from 1987 to 1990.

 

ANDREW GALE - CEO

• Andrew Gale has 23 years of experience in financial markets.

• Most recently he was with Dexion Capital in London from September 2004 until October 2008. At Dexion, Mr Gale was responsible for product development and asset raising for the firm’s London listed closed end funds of hedge funds and third party funds. He developed the firm’s investor base throughout UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.

• Prior to Dexion, Mr Gale worked at Morgan Stanley in London and Singapore for more than fifteen years. In February 1995 he moved to Morgan Stanley, Singapore as Head of Fixed Income Sales for South East Asia where he focused on FX, interest rates, derivatives and credit products. He was a member of the management committee and the Monetary Authority of Singapore Bond Market committee.

• Prior to that, from 1989 Mr Gale worked with Morgan Stanley in London in Fixed Income Sales, covering Central Banks and Official Institutions in Europe, Asia and Africa, focusing on cash bond and interest rate derivatives on both the asset and liability side.
